Andrew Antone developed an online brand guide for the unicorn construction SaaS company, Procore. Working closely with the brand team, Andrew helped create the corporate color palette and typography styles. The website established an online hub for internal teams, agencies, and vendors to access brand assets, design paradigms, and usage guidelines.
As Procore continued to grow, it was clear that a robust, yet flexible design system was needed to enable scalability with countless contributors and stakeholders. Beginning with cross-departmental discovery meetings, Andrew worked closely with numerous stakeholders over the course of a year developing Procore's Marketing Design System. Synthesizing the research uncovered in the discovery phase, Andrew began architecting the design system by assembling component and pattern libraries that integrated the newly updated brand style guide. Documenatation was then written and applied to the foundational, modular libraries. Now implemented, the design system saves designers, collaborators, contractors, and agencies a lot of time, ensures UI consistency, reduces complexity and ambiguity, and facilitates global collaboration and consensus.
A comprehensive digital experience brings simplicity and clarity to this construction technology leader, with a greater emphasis on its products and an increasingly international audience. Bringing coherence, precision, and flexibility to Procore and its full suite of products and solutions, Andrew implemented the newly crafted design system to be the foundation of this refresh to further its mission of improving the lives of everyone in construction.
