Drawing on the extraordinary history of the infamous Santa Barbara ocean-front estate, Andrew Antone created an elegant identity with a nod to the majestic old-Hollywood era of copper heiress, Huguette Clark, the mansion's excentric proprietor. An illustration of the property's main house was commissioned and is the centerpiece of the new identity, grounded by a regal script logotype.
For over half a century, Bellosguardo — one of the least-visited and most whispered-about landmarks on the West Coast — has stood frozen in time. Andrew Antone worked with Bellosguardo Foundation to develop a timeless website design that would establish an online home for the Foundation and a basis for its activities, furthering its mission to become a home for art, music, history, and culture, to be enjoyed by all.
Andrew Antone designed the identity for the infamous 23-acre Santa Barbara ocean-front estate's inaugural gala creating posters, wayfinding and signage, digital content, and advertising as well as the commemorative printed program book. Opened to the public for the first time in six decades, the inaugural gala was a black and white Great Gatsby affair on the grounds of this historic cliff-top property.
